The conflict has brought years and years of pain and loss for both Palestinians
and Israelis. Occupation, blockade and the unfulfilled rights of Palestinians for a homeland, security,
liberty and economic prosperity
make it very difficult to imagine peace in the near future.
Despite the seemingly intractable nature of the conflict, some Palestinians
and Israelis refuse to accept endless war as their fate. Palestinians who believe
that violence is a dead end and Israelis
who disagree with their government's policies work to build
bridges across the divide; a true “roadmap” for peace.

three fair trade groups and sells it throughout the US as Peace
Oil®. Two of these are Israeli groups
— Sindyanna of Galilee and Green Action — both good models
of economic cooperation breaking down the walls of separation.
These are not merely efforts to avoid real systemic change by glossing
over the deep divisions. Both Sindyanna of Galilee and Green Action are
fully committed to ending occupation, blockade and discrimination. Learn more about the Israeli fair trade groups.
