Hadas Lahav, a Jewish woman, and Samya Nasser, a Palestinian woman, together created Sindyanna of Galilee. Sindyanna empowers Arab women and the Arab community as a whole in Israel and the

territories. To further their peace work, Hadas buys olive oil and other traditional products from Arab farmers in Israel and olive oil soap from the West Bank. Arab women in the facility in Kufr Kana gain employment skills preparing and packaging products for market.
